Born in the heart of Scranton, Pennsylvania, I emerged into this world with a fire in my spirit and a zest for life. My roots run deep in the Keystone State, and it’s here that my remarkable journey began.
🎓 Education That Ignited My Passion: I donned my cap and gown at the University of Scranton, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services. Little did I know that this academic voyage would be the catalyst for my purpose-driven life.
🌟 Empowering Lives as a Living Skills Facilitator: Picture this: I stood shoulder-to-shoulder with warriors—the resilient souls who faced life’s toughest battles. As a Living Skills Facilitator, I guided adults with TBI (traumatic brain injuries) and Cerebral Palsy, teaching them not just survival, but how to thrive. Their triumphs became my own, etching indelible stories of resilience into my heart.
🔥 From Courtrooms to Compassion: Women’s Liaison Extraordinaire: In the hallowed halls of the Lackawanna County Drug Court, I wore many hats, but my favorite was that of the Women’s Liaison. I championed justice, compassion, and second chances. My mission? To empower women to rise like phoenixes from the ashes of adversity.
🌿 Community Catalyst: Director of Golden Lakes Village Love in Action: As the Director of Community Resources at Golden Lakes Village Love in Action, I wove connections like a master weaver. Our village thrived on love, compassion, and collective action. Together, we painted the canvas of hope, one stroke at a time.
🌟 Unity in Diversity: Board Member at Unity of the Palm Beaches: Unity isn’t just a word—it’s a symphony of souls harmonizing across boundaries. On the Unity of the Palm Beaches board, I danced to this rhythm, celebrating diversity, spirituality, and shared dreams. Our mission? To weave a tapestry of love that transcends all barriers.
